Since the industrial revolution, we own more things than ever before and rather than
increasing our happiness, we are faced with a reduced levels of well-being and reduced
quality of life. As product designers, our traditional role was to create products that
consumers wanted and needed but that also added fuel to the materialist culture.
‘Memento’ is our way of creating new ideas in opposition to the cycle of wasteful
consumerism. We want things to be treasured to again and to rekindle the joy we once
found in objects. Our vision is to enhance joy everyday with meaningful objects to
display irreplaceable memories that can be treasured for many years to come.
